Basic versions of the RVS

The basic designs of the tanks are made for the following versions of the design:

  • Tanks with a volume from 100 m3 to 1000 m3 with stationary rolled conical roofs (tapered shells)
  • Tanks with the volume from 2000 m3 to 5000 m3 with conical skeleton roofs
  • Reservoirs with a volume from 10,000 m3 to 30,000 m3 with dome (spherical) skeleton roofs
  • Tanks with a volume from 10,000 m3 to 50,000 m3 with two-deck floating roofs

Basic design parameters of the RVS

The main design parameters and tank weights shown in the attached drawings are given for the most common combination of operating conditions, climatic and process loads.

  1. The service life of the tank is 30 years
  2. The relative density of the product is up to 1.0
  3. Maximum storage temperature of the product - +90 C
  4. The maximum level of filling the product:
    • For tanks up to 5000 m3 - at the full height of the wall
    • For tanks over 5000 m3 - at 95% of the wall height
  5. Internal positive pressure (nominal) - 2.00 KPA
  6. Relative vacuum (nominal) - 0,25 KPA
  7. The capacity of the receiving and dispensing of the product is from the conditions for completing the tanks with the following diameters:
    • Reservoirs with a volume of 100 and 200 m3 of DN100 ... DN150 (2 pcs each)
    • Reservoirs with a volume of 300 and 400 m3 of DN 150..Du200 (2 pcs each)
    • Reservoirs with a volume of 700 and 1000 m3 of DN 200..Du250 (2 pcs each)
    • Reservoirs with a volume of 2000 and 3000 m3 of DN 250..Du400 (2 pcs each)
    • Reservoirs with a volume of 5000 and 10 000 m3 of DN 400 .. Du600 (2 pcs each)
    • Reservoirs with a volume of 20 000 and 50 000 m3 DN 600..Du700 (3 pcs each)
  8. Product turnover 200 cycles per year
  9. The design temperature of the metal is at least  -40 C
  10. Snow load (normative) 1.00 KPA
  11. Wind load (normative) 0.38 KPA
  12. Seismicity of the construction area up to 6 points
  13. Wall and cover insulation is absent
